Exchange message forwarding/redirection rules with Outlook 2007

To create a forwarding rule to forward e-mail from your Exchange mailbox to an alternate address:
- Click Tools at the top of the main Outlook 2007 window.
- Click Rules and Alerts from the menu.
- Click the New Rule button.
- Click Check messages when they arrive.
- Click Next.
- Check the box for received in a specific date span.
- If you would not like to set a specific time span in which to forward/redirect messages, you may skip to Step 10.
- Click the blue underlined phrase "in a specific date span"
- Set the values for the dates that you would like your mail to be forwarded to an alternate e-mail account.
- Click OK.
- Click Next.
- Check the box for forward it to people or distribution list.
- Alternatively, you may choose redirect it to people or distribution list if you do not wish to retain a copy of all the messages received during the set time span on the server.
- Click the blue underlined phrase "people or distribution list".
- Enter your alternate e-mail address in the To field.
- Click OK.
- Click Finish.
